Neutral Smokey Eye

It's September! We're 4 months away till the end of 2018 - how crazy is that? I'll be travelling to two different places this month so more travel photos coming your way this month! Yesterday I was playing with makeup (again) because it was a holiday and I wanted to practice on the smokey eye look, a look I don't do often. tried out this neutral smokey eye look and I really liked it! I kept it neutral with the lips to keep the look more muted and not over the type.
Skin: Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25H Foundation #200
Concealer: Instant Age Rewind Light, Maybelline
Eyes: Naked Smoky Palette, Urban Decay [discontinued]
Eyebrows: Hi-Definition Brow Liner, Silkygirl
Blush: Amazonian Clay 12H Blush Paaarty-Nude, Tarte
Highlighter: Heaven Hue's Highlighter Transcendence, Stila
Lips: Soft Matte Lip Cream Toulouse, NYX Cosmetics
An alternative palette that can easily recreate this look is any Naked 2 palette. Also, I couldn't find a link to the shade Tolouse but linked you guys to where you can get the soft matte range online. This is a very simple look but I think its a pretty good look. I used very basic brown shades on my lid and did a dark smokey look on my bottom lid. One tip on trying to perfect the smokey eye is to do layer the dark shades lightly, that way you'll have better control on how it looks and you can stop before the smokey eye gets too intense. Frankly, I really like this look and might wear it more often. More looks to come your way! Till here, I hope you're all well and I can't wait to share my travels with you guys! Nx
