“In the world we live in, what we know and what we don't know are like Siamese twins, inseparable, existing in a state of confusion.” - Haruki Murakami
Sputnik Sweetheart; a novel by Murakami. I could not comprehend how he talked about two different worlds in our lives. How we could be living one now and somewhere at this moment there could be another part of ourselves, living a different life in a different world. The dreams we have. The different meaning and context that comes along with it. It got me questioning so much after finishing the book. I enjoyed every bit of the book, nearly every paragraph was captivating. The way he uses different words to describe different things, it was like reading a poetic novel in certain parts of the story. Something different for me.
On a different note, I took some shots of my outfit today. Pretty crappy because really, its no outfit to really blog about but I thought I'd share and update a little. An outfit that had me feeling like a little girl wearing a Japanese styled outer.
Top: Black buttoned tank top, Somerset bay
Outer: Kimono styled printed outer, Zara
Shorts: Ripped denim shorts, DIY
Bag: Saffiano leather small satchel, DKNY
Shoes: Pool slides, Cotton On
The start of the semester is going surprisingly well and smooth, which, is really really good. Hopefully it stays this way till the end of the year. I'm probably gonna start on a new book soon if I don't get lazy. Also, I'm starting to work out again, trying hard to get back my 'abs' haha. Till here, I hope you're all well Nx
