Another set of self portraits I said I would share with you guys. I was contemplating on whether I should start on my assignments and I thought to myself, nah, I'll start next week *procrastination at its best*. Anyways, thank you everyone for the lovely feedback regarding my previous self portrait post here. I'm glad that you guys liked it. For me, I personally prefer this set of self portraits over the previous ones. I learn along the way on my editing and such. Again, it's not perfect nor do I expect it to be. It's a learning process and I'm hoping to produce better pictures in the future.

I did this set of self portraits out of the blue without much inspiration. Dug out 2 big pieces of old black paper and started off like that. I just wanted to portray something that was dark and personal. If I could look like this everyday I would. Quite frankly, I wouldn't dare go out looking like this because of  the culture here in Malaysia (or maybe just Penang). I guess I could say this set of self portraits is just me, wanting to be me, but not being able to on a daily basis. Does that even make sense? Haha I never really make sense anyways.
